K-12 teachers of English as a second language use Bloom’s Taxonomy as a useful instrument to teach language skills in sequential steps. Schools use this categorization framework that contains Remembering, Understanding, Applying, Analyzing, Evaluating and Creating as its main levels. Teachers apply these levels of difficulty as they create educational lessons which help students develop vocabulary along with grammar skills and speaking abilities and writing and critical thinking abilities.
